Kelly McCall, LCMHCA
"Hello there! It can be extremely difficult to reach out for support, especially as a parent, so I am honored if you consider me to become part of you and your child’s village!"
Kelly McCall is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, who is pursuing her Registered Play Therapist certification along the way. She graduated from University of North Carolina at Charlotte with her Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and an additional graduate certificate in Play Therapy.
At the core of Kelly’s counseling is her belief in the client’s own capability; she utilizes Child-Centered and Person-Centered foundations to support and empower each client to heal themselves. Kelly adjusts her approach according to each individual client's needs, while believing in and emphasizing the importance of humor, fun, and every client’s unique story and expression within the therapeutic space. She strives to collaborate with each kiddo’s grown-ups while maintaining the child’s independence, in order to facilitate the growth and development of every kiddo. Kelly has experience with children from 3 to 14 years of age, and with issues including anxiety, behavioral/emotional regulation difficulties, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She has a passion for supporting children and families within the foster and adoption system.
