Carym Arbulu-Casas
Carym Arbulu-Casas (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate who received her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University.
Working with client’s from ages 5 to young adults, Carym’s focus is on the client’s behavior and how that influences their communication. She uses a child/person centered foundation to support her clients in finding root causes for their behaviors and empowering them in choosing a path towards self-healing. Carym adjusts her approach to each of her clients, putting their needs at the forefront of the sessions all while building trust and emphasizing the client’s uniqueness, creativity and expression in the therapeutic space. She strives to make therapy a collaborative effort, relying on family-orientation, and works towards facilitating growth, development and independence.
